I grew up without asking. I didn’t even know what I wanted to know.
They told me I was born in Vietnam. But I didn’t know what that meant. Not really.
In 2020, I left France. Not for a destination. But to disappear.
One day, I returned to Vietnam. And I realized I wasn’t searching for a country. I was searching for a name I never heard. A gaze I forgot too soon. A story with no beginning.
This site was born from that. RacinesVietnam.com is what I wish I could have read — back when I didn’t even know I needed it.
