About – A Quest for Origins, Truth, and Identity
From Adoption to Return: A Life Between Two Worlds
Adopted from Vietnam as a child by a French family, I grew up in Bordeaux surrounded by love — but also silences no one could name.
As a child, I had simple yet powerful dreams:
to become a professional footballer, then a firefighter.
But life brought me back to a harsher reality.
Invisible struggles, unanswered questions, and an ongoing inner quest.

Disappear to Come Back Stronger
In 2020, I left France. Not to travel, but to deliberately lose myself.
I spent a year in Bangkok. Then I returned to where it all began: Vietnam.
Not as a tourist, but as a man in inner exile.
Searching for meaning. For answers. And perhaps, for myself.

Finding one part. Still searching for the other.
I was fortunate to find my birth mother again. To see my brother once more.
Real faces. Voices lost in time.
But my sister is still missing.
I don’t know where she is, but I keep searching for her.
And maybe, one day, my words will find her.

Living Without a Degree. Learning Out of Necessity.
I have no official diploma.
Everything I know, I learned on the ground — by walking, falling, and starting over.
I taught myself English while living abroad.
I trained independently in writing, web, digital skills, and culture.
Today, I live in Vietnam, thanks to what I’ve built with my own hands, doubts, and determination.

Why RacinesVietnam.com?
Because I needed a living space, away from social networks,
where I could write what I never dared to say.
RacinesVietnam.com is a blog, but above all, a refuge.
For adoptees. The uprooted. Lost children who have grown into rebuilding adults.
A space for sharing around Vietnamese adoption, bicultural identity, spirituality, transmission, and living memory.
